Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure Facilities

We currently have an exciting Engineering opportunity in our Infrastructure group!
  • Electric designs in accordance with company and client methodologies in municipal water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations
  • Lead technical innovation in project and tender designs
  • Prepare technical specification
  • Develop (Oversee) electrical engineering drawings
  • Review construction shop drawings
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians and other staff from multiple disciplines
  • Supervise contractors in the construction phase and executing start up
  • Assist the project manager when help is needed
  • Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project


  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or all other equivalent training
  • Hold a valid Professional Engineers License from Ontario
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in design and construction within water and wastewater treatment plants
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in electrical power distribution design and the selection of equipment such as MCCs, switchgears, substations, and electrical application of process equipment
  • Must have knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, industry norms, standards and methods of construction
  • Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset
  • Good initiative, attention to details
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
