Energy Efficiency Specialist

  • Our Sustainable Design team works with architects, engineers and owners providing an array services including: integrated design coordination, green building certifications facilitation (LEED, Green Globes, BOMA BESt, etc.), envelope optimization, daylighting analysis, energy efficiency, and energy modeling
    This is an outstanding and unique opportunity to work alongside existing Energy Efficiency Specialists who will provide guidance and support in learning the innovative approaches and methodologies employed by the group
  • Prepare building energy simulation models for system & façade optimization
  • Perform building load calculations to assist mechanical designers
  • Perform building energy simulation model analysis
  • Report on the analysis and results of the energy modelling
  • Assisting design engineers with calculations for ASHRAE 62.1 and 55
  • Preparing energy efficiency financial incentive program applications
  • Preparation and maintenance of LEED project documentation
  • Perform building energy audits 


  • University degree or college diploma in engineering, physical sciences or architecture
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • LEED credential  (LEED AP with specialty, LEED AP or Green Associate)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup
  • Knowledge of building mechanical systems, preferably through experience in design of such systems
  • Knowledge of the following simulation software: EE4, eQUEST, Trane Trace 700, IES Virtual Environment, Ecotect, and Retscreen
  • Have a passion for green buildings and sustainable design
  • Be driven to learn and excel
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a team player
  • Have the ability to work on a variety of projects with various scopes
